‎1. Any accomplishment may be broken down into partial accomplishments. To develop the resources for the whole, one must isolate its components and master them. For the violin these include trills; double stops; bowing technique; and position changes or shifting. All can be isolated to a high degree, if not entirely.

2. Any complex, difficult task, and every part thereof, is based on elementary playing functions. Any task and its components can be carried out if preceded by exercises of gradually increasing difficulty. If done systematically, the desired result will occur almost by itself, unnoticed.

3. If the ultimate result is not achieved, the partial tasks may have been poorly coordinated, or the student tried to reach the result without gradual preparation. Repetition will not correct mistakes that are due to faulty playing motions or procedures; they may become all the more firmly ingrained. Rational practicing therefore requires analysis and slow, patient mastery of the partial tasks.

Bracelets on top of bracelets, wrapped inside a bracelet, with a bracelet dangling off a bracelet, putting Pitti mewelry stackers to shame. Faux streetstyle scene, in a romantic/awkward pose. Quality photography, not Tumblr/Insta/menswear mirror selfies. DSLR stuck on shallow depth. Contests to “win this stuff I’m already wearing”. REAL ad revenue, paid for looking cute.

That’ll be huge!”, that little annoying end of the belt that gets forgotten and peeks out below the vest that’s under the blazer that’s over the tie and crinkled button down, A.P.C. Petite Standards that are only three years or older are allowed in this big boys club, modeling in Italy - no big deal, stern facial expressions, “you-caught-me-off-guard” smiles, refuses to advertise because that ain’t his thang, totally hot but a guy you could never get with. sorry, ladies.
